Our Cancellation and Refund Policy Personal Chef Services: We require 72 hours advance notice if you must cancel. All services require 72 hours notice, No fee will be charged  Less than 48 hours I will keep 25% of your deposit,This is to cover resulting expenses for DecentDinners  Teen Classes, Kids Classes,Adult Classes, Summer Cooking Classes and Private Lessons:  Because food must be purchased and curriculum prepared in advance, cancellations less than 72 hours prior to class are not refundable.  Tuition for cancellations with more than 72 hours notice may be applied to a future class or fully refunded. "No shows" will not receive refund or credit. You are encouraged to send a friend in your place if you are unable to attend.  Decent Dinners reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, bad weather, or other unforeseen conditions. Families will be contacted  to reschedule the class. You will receive a full refund or you can choose to apply the funds to a future class. Thank you for understanding.  All refunds will be issued in the same format used for registration/payment within 14 days of Decent Dinners Cancellation. Cancellation  by anyone other than Decent Dinners per our cancellation policy will receive a refund within 3 weeks of cancellation order in the same format that was used for payment. Cooking Birthday Parties A 25% deposit is required to reserve your reservation for Birthday Parties  If a party is cancelled at least seven (7) working days prior to the scheduled date,all monies will be refunded. The exception is when rented equipment or costumes were involved. In this case half of your deposit will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of rental equipment and supplies.  Any cancellation that is made less than seven days, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN  Singles Cooking Classes/Parties  All cancellations are required 14 days in advance for a full refund  Cancellations of less than 14 days is not refundable, but can be applied to a future Singles Cooking Party or a Private cooking session  Payment  All payments must be paid prior to any scheduled classes/events/parties   DecentDinners accepts cash, MasterCard,Visa,Discover,American Express, cashier's check or money orders. Personal checks will be accepted for any amount of the balance twenty one (21) days prior to the date of the event or for a balance less than a $100 within the last two weeks prior to the event.  For any balance over $100 we will accept only a money order,cash, MasterCard, Visa or cashier's check within the last fourteen (14) days.  Personal chef services and e_meals can be made by check as well.  All parties and classes must be paid in full three (3) working days in advance of the event.  A fee will be charged on changes made to Cooking Birthday Parties, Private Cooking Classes or Cooking Parties within the last four (4) days.  To determine the balance of your bill, please call or email our office. An itemized invoice will be sent to you by the end of the business day or 5 days days prior to your party or event.  Gratuities  DecentDinners Personal Chef Services does not charge a gratuity for services. However, tips are considered proper and greatly appreciated by our staff.
